    Defeat trim limit Mercury 40

    Hi all- 1999 3cyl 40elpto here... Just wondering if the limit on my trim while underway is a mechanical or electrical limit switch? I would like to defeat it if possible. My transom has about 10 degrees negative rake from vertical, so the merc limit only gives me about 10 more degrees of trim...
