First I want to say thank you to everyone who has helped me over the past couple of weeks. My 1955 25 hp evinrude has gone for a paper weight to a motor. I had filled up lower unit with new oil when I started. I let it out today and it was tan and there was water. I have not had it in gear yet...
Long story short... I got a 1955 25 hp big twin recently. Read the can wrong (some of writing is missing) and mixed gas :oil at 20:1. Haven't run it much because I haven't been able to get it to run consistently and it has been smoking a lot (go figure). Did this damage anything else?
