    Trolling motor noise

    I have a 40 pound Motor Guide that makes a metal on metal noise as it is engaged and turning to the right. It is the upper bracket causing the noise as it torgues and hits the lower bracket that is attached to the boat. Any experience with this and how did you solve it? Thanks, Charles

    Changed Impeller- Now have a clicking noise

    I have a 2000, 50 horsepower Mercury outboard that I've changed the impeller on. Now when I manually turn the prop, a clicking noise is present. How do I remove the noise and will it hurt the motor if I run it like this?
