    took another look at the points, noticed they were way off, and readjusted them properly. I then used a multimeter in the spark plug hole to test some voltage and noticed the bottom spark plug could read at 40V but the top never broke 1V. either way, I still had no spark on either plug. right...

    thanks, I'll look into that I've cleaned the points already, and one point does look like it contacts with another so I'll gap that.
