I just installed a new yamaha 150. Due to all wiring and hose routing through one opening on the motor and then through the large rigging hose the primer bulb ends up in the underside of the floor. I don't like this for fear the bulb should leak. Does anyone have any suggestions.

I just bought a brand new 2004 150. It is the carb model. i will be installing it next week. just was wondering if any had any tips or things to look out for? Also is there anything special that should be done before the first start up?
did yamaha do away with the saltwater series for 2004. Did they also do away with the EFI 150 for 2004. From what i can tell on there web site there is only four choices. Four stroke, hpdi, vmax, and i'm guessing but it seems to be a carb model. can some one explain.

i have a 86 15hp. the motor sat for about a year. last time it was run it ran good. i went to start the motor recently and found it to have no spark. how do i best determine the faulty ignition component without buying all new parts. it is a 2 cyclinder, both don't have spark.

can anyone tell me were the best location is for the water temp sensor to be located. my temp gauge is reading incorrect to low. i beleive the sensor is not positoned properly in relation to the water jacket. i have an 86' 140 evinrude. motor runs fine gauge reads worng.
