    1985 40hp Johnson Float specs?

    Hi all, Can anyone tell me what the float height and drop specs are for my 1985 40hp ELCOB johnson are? Having issues with flooding, i've adjusted floats several times to different specs, got one carb to quit flooding but really had to tweak the float tang to stop it, seems excessive. Any help...
