I'm looking at a used Avon Typhoon, built in 1987. It is in great shape but the owner told me he had applied Armorall on the boat a few years ago. He only did it one time. I know the silicones in this stuff can be big trouble for an inflatable, but I'm hoping the fact it was only used once...
My Avon Redseal has developed a leak at a tube seam near the floor. Anyone here ever tackle one of these repairs? I plan to:
1. Using a heat gun, peel the doubler from the bottom of the tube in the area of the leak.
