    stearing removal

    HELP!!!!! Have a omc 175, how do you get the steering gear rod out so you can remove the stearing cable fo you can get the intermeate unit out ?

    prestolite alt. change

    My 1976 OMC 175 with a 302 Ford has cooked the old Prestolite alternator. Is there a replacement that I can use that has an internal regulator? I would like to put on an updated type (delco), seems hard to find anyone around Amarillo that can rebuild the old one. Thanks
