The motor has new plugs, timing just done, fuel recirculation screens cleaned and good gas. Runs rough, especially in idle and sounds like it's missing. 1,3 and 4 cyl. Plugs are wet and no black residue. 2nd cyl. Has black soot residue. Can anyone tell me what this means?
Lost spark on 1st cylinder while trying to set timing. Switched the 2 wires that connect to the top 2 blue coils with a plastic pin connector. I then lost spark on #2 cylinder only, telling me that both coils are good. I just don't know how to troubleshoot the blue prestolite pack to eliminate...
I just removed impeller but did not pay attention to the direction it spun. Does anyone know if it's counter clockwise or clockwise? I have the water pump that has the metal tub that holds the impeller. Thanks for some help.
Hi, I just removed lower unit to replace impeller and a metal washer / retainer fell out of the mid section. I assume that the washer goes on the upper driveshaft below spline but I don't know which direction it goes. The washer is cupped like a bearing retainer. See pic. Also which direction...
