While the rig I have runs well, Im looking for more top end, lower cruising rpm's, and still maintain my WOT range...is this even practical?? Here's what I have:
'95 Galaxie 19'6 Bowrider (weight 2650) w/ 5.7L Inboard - WOT range 4400 - 4800 rpm
14 1/2 x 19P Ballistic SS 3 blade runs 54 (gps)...
The boat i bought ('95 Galaxie Ultra 196) has a '93 gm inboard 5.7L...i cannot look up the horsepower output online anywhere. The block does not specify if it's a mercruiser, penta, omc, etc. Any help will be appreciated. Andy
I have a 19 ft Galaxie ski boat with a '95 5.7 GM inboard, '93 Yamaha outdrive. This boat runs very strong (60 mph), but at cruising speeds (25-35), the boat "porpouses" even on flat conditions.
* Will a hydrofoil stabilizer fin be my best option to minimize this??
* Are any of them better...
