    1990 Yamaha 225 solenoid

    1990 Yamaha 225 solenoid heres another one. while chasing down the trim wires I managed to cause a total lack of power to the motor. NO trim & no starter, like a fuse has blown. I took out the solenoid which looks very old but has worked till now. Help please. thanks Cons

    Yamaha 225 trim control?

    OK. the trim switch at the throttle will lift the motor but not lower it. The switch on the MOTOR will work up & down. Does this prove that the relay is good/ bad? There is power from the throttle switch all the way back to the motor but no response for down action. Ideas? thanks, Cons
