wanted to post this so people dont spend as much money and have as many headaches as i did replaced powerpak coils timer plugs gas tank and lines rebuilt carb 4 times.... turned out to be the manual primer was leaking internally and flooding the engine. hope this helps some one i just bypassed...
my 1987 25hp johnson has a manual primer u pull out to inject fuel into the carb but if i move it she will leak in the case and the c clip will fly off somewhere....
so is there any way i can bypass this primer for the time being?i have another electric choke bowl and i was just gonna swap...
so i got the motor running kind of ok takes awhile for it to build up speed and get on plane so i took out the plugs
grounder out each wire and check timing while cranking the motor at wot and the reading was 32 degrees wot spec
for my motor is 30 degrees so i set it at 26 while cranking as...
