    Lower Unit ?????

    I was tuning up my motor the other day when I heard a clunk from the lower unit and now my propeller doesn't spin. It seems as though it's not shifting into gear. If someone can give me a clue on what might have happened I'd appreciate it. What might this cost me??

    Engine Year???...Engine Bogs Down

    I have what I think is a 1973 Mercury 1500 Thunderbolt outboard but when I looked up the serial number (3497705) it comes up as an Mercury 850 Thunderbolt. The engine is labeled as 150 H.P.
