Does anyone know from the pictures above which gas line Jerry was talking about to pinch after it starts to see if the primer diaphragm is bad? Small black or discolored clear?
In the picture, you can see the big black fuel line go by, then a small discolored clear tube, which looks like it goes under the float bowl. Then a small black tube . Which small tube should I pinch off to check if it's the primer diaphragm? Thank you
I just got back from getting new plugs. They did not have the champions but they had the correct NGK plugs ( NGK BUZHW). They said they were definitely correct for my motor and were rated better than the champion QL78V plugs. SO I'll give them a try. Does anyone know the plug gap for the 96...
Seems like the plugs are the problem due to the change in motor operation. When I put in the wrong plugs the marina sold to me ( The NGK BR9HS), which are not the long (NGK BUZHW) that was wrongly recommended for my motor, it ran great 5-10 minutes until died, would not start back with those. I...
After further investigation, I think they sold me the wrong plugs. I am finding that the NGK BUZHW should be the correct spark plug for my motor? I am however seeing a longer thread on the NGK BUZHW that the Champion QL76V . Is that the problem? Is it that the spark plug was not deep enough?
