Getting ahead of myself here...thinking about the flotation!! I know I've seen the ideas...now that im down to it...what is the BEST way? IM LOOKING FOR SOME RECOMMENDATIONS
Hi..will do that..I just ordered or am set to order some solid rivets...reading the recommended rivets to use on my 1983 v220 supermariner..I think that's what it is.lol...from reading prior post I am double checking from those that have done it..my selection of rivets so far is 3/16 brazier...
I need to just do it!!!!!!! Im procrastinator and am looking for other projects...who has a V220 supermariner center console and how good does it handle big water..
Im ready for rivets!! Weather is good..looks like about 50..all we're rivets that were trapped by trailers carpeted bunks.!! All foams gone..looks pretty clean, even before pressure wash..
I need to order some solid rivets for the v220 mariner! Who has the experience of what i should order and where to get them...also the most effective tool to use to hammer them in place?
It had pour in foam...but that is all removed..it is actually pretty clean inside..I haven't pressure washed yet! Pretty soon..want it really clean..Again comlete rivet check and replacement then gluvit i suppose..I am questioning on a really good way to put flotation foam back in...is there a...
Well!! Finally I've made some progress and have decided to go all in! lol..I've pulled floor, removed all foam..soon to pressure wash..looks pretty good over all..checked all rivet heads on bottom that had heads flaking off...hit them ALL pretty firmly..Will have to redo like 50 !!! I need to...
I just went off the registration..stating 82...but trolling this site I understand this boat can handle pretty big waters..sure has a ton of fishing room to drift fish halibut, lings, and rockfish..am I to also understand it a little beefier as far as ribs, etc.? Has 240 max. Hp rating
Adding to post now...I guess my fear is that is it actually possible for seams to pop open? Also..does anyone have input on what flotation my 1982 starcraft should have..and could I do a very effective flotation add on..after I do rivets and gluvit?
