    Extra orifice on motor

    As i was looking over my motor I noticed a hole about the size of a 4 penny nail, just above the cavitation plate that to me looks perfectly round, like it was drilled on purpose. It is on the right side, as you face the motor, on the opposite side of the flush hole. It is the 69, 9.8 merc110...

    Motor ID (I hope for the last time)

    Small engine steering and throttle capability

    I have a 9.8, 1966 mercury 110 and it is mounted on a 16ft lowe, jon boat. I was wondering if throttle controls, and or, steering could be mounted on this type motor with this boat. Is this possible, stupid, or moneywise not very feasible? Thank You !!
