1989 5.0 Mercuiser AlphaI. Engine overheated, replaced complete water pump in lower unit. Gauge now reads about 140 degrees but am wondering what cools pump housing? I am getting water out of vents at back of transom but not out of hub exhaust (should I?), or am I just melting pump housing down...
