    Overheating at idle

    I have a 2003 yamaha 150 2 stroke. It runs great at high speeds but overheats at idle. Could it be a thermostat if it only happens at idle? I thought it may be the poppet valve but not sure. It pees fine all the time and water pump was replaced this past summer! Ay help would be appreciated...

    1987 merc 90 HP full throttle issue

    I was having a problem with my motor coughing at slow/idle speeds so i ordered up a carb kit and cleaned and installed it but am still having problems. At high speeds the motor runs great but at slow idles speeds it wants to trun off and cough a good bit which makes it hard to pickup decoys etc...

    submerged 20hp johnson

    today i accidentally submerged my motor while wenching it on the trailer it was under for about 30 sec to a minute i can not get it to start now. i checked spark plugs and didnt see any water. is my motor ruined? what can i do to fix it? thanks so much
