    Life of Plug Wires?

    How many years should spark plug wires last? I . Checked with ohm meter and they all passed. I did notice on wires a OEM tag with number and date of 2005. Possible they good after 14 years?

    50hp Merc hates cold temps

    2000, 50hp, 4 cycle ,Bigfoot, was running perfect. Now that the cold weather has arrived it starts right up and as engine warms up rpm's will increase to around 2500+ and won't drop down.     2000/50HP/Bigfoot idle issue

    Cold motor starts right up, as it warms up the idle increases to 3000+ and it won't drop down. I shut it down,start it up again, idle is fine and then idle increases. Any ideas?
