    96 150 johnson ocean runner idling to fast

    I've had my motor for 16 years and it has always @ "cold "start ran 1100 rpms for about 1 1/2 minutes then drop back to 800 rpms. After that warm up start any time I crank up it would run at 1100 rpms for only about 5 seconds then drop back to normal idle of 800 rpms.First few times I cranked up...

    1996 johnson 150 alarm

    My alarm sounds 3 minutes 15 seconds after starting motor , shut it off crank it back up and 3 minutes 15 seconds starts sounding agin. It beeps for 2 sceonds then stops for an instant and the only way to get it to stop doing this is to shut the motor off. I can't find anything in the clymber...
