    Water pump not pumping

    2001, 150<br />If a water pump and gasket replacement is done properly, will any water enter the area below the pump base where the drive shaft connects to the lower unit. If it does, will this cause damage to the lower unit.

    Lower Unit Removal

    I'm attempting to remove the lower unit of a 2001, 150. All nuts and bolt have been removed. The trailing edge of the unit will separate from the shaft housing. The problem is the leading edge bolt will not separate. I have it soaking with CRC and tried hitting with a rubber mallet. Any tips out...
