thanks for all the help so far......I am currently a 13p prop fully loaded I am running 4800 rpm at wot......research says I need to be between 5000 and 5500 rpms.....any advice on what pitch I should be running would be greatly appreciated

can anyone tell me the correct propeller for an 81 basstracker nwith the 81 40hp merc it has a chewed up 13 inch pitch prop I don't know if its original.....it weighs 600 pounds dry and carries 5 gallons of fuel and two guy at a petite 500 lbs any help is greatly appreciated
I recently acquired an '81 basstracker 3. The boat is in good shape, but the ignition switch is in pieces. I have a new switch for the 40 hp push to choke mercury. However the pin configuration is different. Does anyone out there know what the wiring colors are and what they are for? Thanks.
