:rolleyes:94 merc 3.0LX my question is will this ACTRON INDUCTIVE TIMING LIGHT (bought it at auto-zone $42.95) work for setting my timing?? or do i need the digital display kind? ($120.00) just wanted to know before i open the package? thanks.
:confused:hello again, 94 Merc. 3.0LX alpha 1 gen.2.... my next issue (now that i got the cutting,bogging,dieing out issue resolved, which was the fuel pump)now its that I'm idling way to high (at about 1,600 rpm) but when i try idling her down to be where she should be ( 650-700 ) she will die...
engine #of269456. transom#of322098. And the numbers I took off of the carb are #05924A1-3X01 ( just under fuel inlet pipe)will this be the same as a 3310-805924?? And does anyone know if this is the carbie that came on boat new ?? or is it a replacment carbie,ect??? thanks,Dan.
