    1975 Johnson 50HP pull start

    Hi there guys, I'm about to drop my old boat in the water, and i would like to have a pull start "emergency" cord ready just in case. What length should the cord be, as i have nothing to go from? Hopefully i won't have to use it, but i'd rather be safe than sorry. Thanks Don

    1975 Johnson 50 starter or solinoid?

    Hi there ya'll. I've got a '75 Johnson 50 Sea Horse that's having starter or solinoid issues. First time i tried it sunday, it turned over and started fine. Ever since it just "clicks" and dosen't turn the engine over. I cleaned all the battery cables, both ends and cleaned the solinoid wires...

    Hi there, I just got an older Ala-Craft boat with a Johnson Sea Horse 50 on it. The boat & motor are a 1975, it's not been ran in about 4 years.
