    Spark plug gap Yam '95, 40hp

    Guys, My Seloc manual says the spark plug gap for my '95 40hp, Yamaha is .020-.024. So, does anyone know specifically what the gap should be (actual owner manual)??? Would like to get it where it should precisely be.... Thanks, Dave

    Should I add water sep filter?

    Old boat, my first boat, '84, MCM 140R, 140hp, 181cid. I'm pretty sure the fuel pump is a Carter low volume pump. I haven't opened up yet, but planning on replacing the filter in there. <br />Would it be a wise investment to also install a water separating filter between the pump and the gas...
