will changing to a smaller diameter prop of the same pitch increase hole shot?
I get no slip after mashing the gas.
motor 150 HP Mercury outboard
Mercury Trophy 4 blade 25 pitch prop 14 1/2" dia
Javelin 379Dc boat, prop is 3 1/2" below the pad.
4800-500 rpm 60 plus mph.
Any idea where I can find floats for my carbs? 84 merc 150 V6 srn 6455211
carbs are WH 27. I can not find them new or used. I suspect I have 2 that are heavy any way to seal them?:eek:
what is the correct what to set the float level? tried to set by turning bowl
upside down then setting float even with the rim. installed new seats and valves but still have fuel seaping at an idel.
