    I sold this head on ebay. The person I sold it to wanted a refund because he said it was a 2.5L head instead of a 3.0L head.     2.5 L - 3.0 L blocks the same?

    Are the 2.5L and 3.0L blocks the same? I have found an older model engine complete I can buy for $150, it came out of a early to mid 70's boat. I evidently have a bad block, water in the oil, no water in cylinders, just crankcase, head checked good. Machine shop manifluxed the head and no cracks...
