Motor is stalling under a load,runs fine in neutral revs up fine in neutral but soon as I put it in gear and throttle up it falls on its face and dies..
I rebuilt the carbs previously,put new plugs in it already

My tachometer is not reading correct. I may only be running 2000 rpm and it will be showing 7000+.I had a 90 hp evinrude on my boat previously and I did switch dial on back from 8p to 6p.any ideas on what might be the problem?
