    Its possible I just have no idea how to check the electronics side on my own. I haven't went by to look at the motors since my last post been busy and well its not my boat so not my priority. Just helping when can. Think its time he take it to a mechanic.

    I hooked up a portable tank straight to the motor. By pass the external filter and ball just to make sure no luck. I'll go get a gauge anyways and check but after swapping the VST and crank fuel pump with to change I'm not holding my breath.

    That is the only thing I don't have. Guess I'll need to get one. I was assuming it wasn't the fuel pumps as we swapped the entire VST from the good motor over. Also swapped the crank driven fuel pump and no change.

    2006 Verado 175 FSM Noise

    2006 Verado 175 My FSM is making a squeaking noise while on muffs. Sounds like the pump cycling. I can't hear it in the water. Is there a troubleshooting guide so I can tell which pump it is? Or should I just clean screens and chance it? Don't want to just throw parts at it.

    Its possible. I would think with the cover loose water would still be going in the bilge but I've never run with a loose cover nor am I going to. But it overheated so prolly gotta do the head gaskets and hopefully nothing else. Guess lesson learned if it runs hot stop.

    Yes check manifolds. Prolly one of the cheaper fixes if thats it. How did you test it to 50psi without removing them. If not could be head gasket or cracked block. Do you live somewhere were it needs to be winterized?

    Manifolds seem like a way better first option than just tearing apart the head to change a gasket that may not be leaking.
