Hi, I have a 1974 johnson 70hp on a 16' tri hual and have no idea what i need to do to prepare this motor for winter as far as making sure the water is out of it and nothing is damaged on my boat or motor by freezing weather. Some sugestions would be great! Thanks!

the motor seems to run fine in the middle and on top once the boat planes but it does not seem to have a lot of power down low-like it isnt reving fast enough to plane out it just wants to bog
this johnson 70 runs great once boat is planed out, it also starts and idles fine but when under load or with 3 or more people in boat it doesnt want to plane out or accelerate very good cannot figure it out
