    Fuel splashing from tank vent on stern

    Whenever I fill up the 35 gal tank on my inboard Bayliner, the only way I know it's near full is a sudden spray of fuel that comes out of the vent fitting on the transom.     Has any had any experiences using/installing a through-hull exhaust system on a 3.0 OMC or similar?<br />I know is may seem silly to do this to a 3.0, but I am trying to maximize what power I have, and wouldn't mine making it sound a little "bigger" in the process.
