Hello all, I have a GG8835A 25h sea king and would like to replace the starter. I'm looking at a starter for a buccaneer 40h #Z50 19B 58283. Looks like it would fit but would it be compatible? Thanks for any input and if there is anyone I can help with any info on sea king let me know.
Trying to educate myself on changing an impeller and lu seals on 1960 gale 25hp. Do I need to remove motor and work my way down to impeller housing or is it accessible from lu? Haven't bought expensive manual yet. Is there posts with pics? thanks

Hello, working on the boat today and noticed that there is what looks like old sprayed in foam under the top of the bow. WHY? It is also filled up in along the sides. Would anyone know if this was done by the manufacturer or later by an owner? Thanks

Hello everyone, just wanted to drop a note and ask if there is such a thing as a transmission pin in a LU. Found an ad for a 1967 40 hrs. evinrude. The ad says all it would need is a transmission pin replaced. What's up with that? Thanks.:confused:
Would like to say hello to everybody and here's my first question: I have a 1960-something MFG fiberglass runabout. The fiberglass is oxidized and the top of the bow has thin little cracks all over. Never worked with fiberglass before. What is the first thing to do about the cracks. thanks
