    Can anybody tell me the trick to getting the recoil spring back in? itook the recoil apart because I broke the line the sping popped out I can get it back but I cant get the end on the litte post that holds it. thanks :confused:

    I have a25 hp. johnson with no id plate where would i look to find the year, i'm sure its in the 70 to 79 yr. bracket. thanks :confused: :confused:

    70 ?johnson 25 hp motor kind of bounces when getting any speed while in gear

    when i put this motor in gear it bounces like the skeg would be hitting the bottom. and it only does this while in gear. what could be the problem? :confused:
