Yamaha 130 v4 idle mix screws

Try it and find out for yourself. Turn in-enrishens, turn out-leans. 20 years of running a V4 130 Yamaha. That is why the "Air" is in the Explanation of the Jet. Otherwise it would just be called "Idle Jet" or "Pilot Jet"

Yamaha 130 v4 idle mix screws

The Idle Air Screws on a 130 V4 are Air, not Fuel, so they work backwards, turning them out Leans the Mixture, in Richens it. Start all 4 a 1&1/2 turns out and adjust from there. My 130 was very cold blooded

    1974 Starcraft 21’ Holiday

No sorry I don't, but my Uncle had a 21' Holiday V5 and never seemed to have the issue. I think that if you support the Rib Ends, to the Gunnels, instead of just ending short of them, the Rib Crack issue would disappear

    brass propeller Johnson?

Spline Shaft, usually meant Thru Hub Exhaust.. 2 Blade, Unknown Pitch but assume 13" by the #13, then Diameter, it looks like it is the length of your Forearm., so 20-24" Diameter. It is definitely not Outboard, some sort of Inboard Kicker or Sail Aux.

    1974 Starcraft 21’ Holiday

Went through a similar episode back in 1982 with Dad's 1975 18'SS. Rib Cracks, not the Corrosion. Dad spent big cash having it repaired, reriverted and Braced, only to have it leak again in a few months. I think the V5 Hulls had the Rib Cracking remedied, and my Uncles older 1964 Holiday never...

Suzuki DT200 rev limiter at 2000

Suzukis of that era, had one extra feature that tapped into Limp Mode. Yamaha and Suzuki had Over Rev, Low Oil, and Over Heat, and Suzuki had Water Flow sensor. You say that the Flow is Good, but perhaps the Sensor is stuck

    Mini Excavators

I purchased a Chinese Mini Hoe this Spring. for the Cabin. I have worked the hell out of it so far with 60 hours on the clock. True the trails/Leveling could be handled with something better, but it can do it by dragging a 5' chunk of Rail, or a Railroad Tie. Could have Rented one, but hauling...

    1979 Johnson 6hp Prop slip

Yes, they have Rubber Hubs, but they are Pin Drive. I have never seen a Pin Drive's hub slip. That even goes for 90hp older motors (non thru hub exhaust), let alone a 6hp having enough hp to spin the hub.

    1979 Johnson 6hp Prop slip

First off, the 6hp and 9.5 are SHear Pin, not Slip Hub props, so they are either engaged or not spinning at all. Second, if both motors are doing it, it is Venting or just plain running out of Pitch. Try running with other person in the boat and see if it is the same thing. 16" shouldn't be...

    What engine in new boat

3856270 Is a 5.0L Chevy marking, Carb would be "What ever "Volvo Used" not what GM supplied. GM was all EFI at that time, and LS series engines not Gen II SBC L05 5.0L V8.

    1976 6hp Welsh Plug

Yes, the Local shop has a drawer full of them, but the Carb is on the motor at the Cabin, so I was hoping someone knew the size of it off hand. DO it in 1 trip rather than 2 trips

    1976 6hp Welsh Plug

Hi everyone, maybe someone could save me a whole carb kit and knows the size of the Low Speed Welsh Plug on the top of the Carb on a 1976 6hp 6R76 Johnson?

    1978 Evinrude 140 V4 Only firing on 2 cylinders

Only fires on the Port Side? What is in common to both Port Cylinders? I see 1 Coil/side. Quick try, swap the coils side to side and see if the Starboard side runs.

BRP reveals a new style of outboard, Rotax powered, horizontal crankshaft....

Yes but much like OMC's Quiet Rider project, that failed miserably, it take many of the Bad Points of Stern Drives, and adds more Bad Points from Outboards, and even worse than Quiet Rider experiment, lowers the Powerhead Under the Waterline.
