After installing a new water pump and impeller, I'm having a tough time getting the shift, shaft, and cooling system to line up so that I can re-attach the lower unit. Any suggestions? Thanks
On a 2001 Yamaha 5 HP outboard with roughly 20 hours on the motor, very little water is coming out of the telltail. Do these motors have a thermostat, and if so, how long would it take to come up to temp? If not, any ideas on what the problem might be? Thanks.
