hello all, can you tell me what type of attachment I will find on my gimble housing for my shift cable.replacement. will it be accessible from outside thread or does it screw into the housing from the inside.

My fuse block at the helm is fed from the ignition side of the ammeter. My Sonar ( raymarine dragonfly pro7) will shut down when ignition switch is put to the start (draw) position.
Can I put a fuse block from the battery side of the ammeter to run the sonar ? Will this make a difference...

Will I have issues without the shocks, is there some need for them on my MC1 gimble and trim that now will be lacking ...
