A friend of a friend is selling a 1972 mercury 135 outboard. It turns on and has good compression. It's fine at idle but cuts out under load of water. Is alright to invest and try to get it working correctly?
I just bought a 15 foot boat with a force 50hp. The engine turns over but i am getting no spparks. I have spoken to alot of people they advise me not to put alot of money into this engine cause parts r expensive. I am considering buying another engine but really dont want to give up on this one...
