1971 4hp johnson weedless, rebuilding motor and took the lower unit apart and found out it had been run dry. Noticed large amount of brass shavings cant figure where they came from. Cleaned and filled with oil, prop turns easily doesnt feel loose ran in tank ok. Is there something im missing...
having problem locating a new float for this. rebuilt carb with a sierra kit minus float hard to start was told the old cork float should be replaced but cant to seem to find one anywhere. any help would be appreciated
