    Alpha One Gen 2 Drive Shaft

    Does anyone know the difference between the pre 1998 vs 1998 and up Alpha One Gen 2 drive shaft assemblies? Are they interchangeable? I have a 2006 Alpha One Gen 2. The pre 1998 shaft are a lot easier to find and a lot cheaper.

    4.3 Merc Alpha 1 Gen 2 Loose Wires

    Any one know what these wires go to? One is orange, black, and I think the 3rd is brown. They never been connected to anything as long as I’ve had the boat (3years). They come out of the main harness on top of the engine coming behind the carb. It’s a TKS 2 barrel carb. Thanks in advance!
