My johnson still wont run...<br />As per my last post i have gone through the carbs new plugs new fuel lines but under a load and when motor warms up i lose power.and then motor back fires and runs like its out of time.Any ideas Open to anything....

I have a 78 140 johnson and the boat is new to me sat for 2 years. when i go out on the water it will jump up and plain and then i lose power.i have changed plugs,new fuel lines filter and hand pump.cleaned out the carbs with carb cleaner but no change.could it be the coil? please help first...
