    What's with the plastic hose coming out of the lower unit by the shift shaft. Where does it go

    The new rebuild kit has a tan colored and black colored valve plate for fuel pump . One post claims that the tan one is a spring plate that goes behind the black one and another says just use the tan one by its self.
