    Shift Rod, 1987 yamaha 30esh

    well, i just ordered parts to replace the upper shift rod on my 30 short shaft. question . can i fish this rod up throught the mid section? . i can see the cotter pin that holds it in place below the carbs. not sure if the small bend on the top of the shaft will fit through hole in mid...
