    Bimini tops

    Any opinions on the best brands and materials of bimini tops? I saw that there is a choice between polyester, acrilic and vinyl. I'd like the best bang for the buck, you know. I have a 19' 1990 Custom Craft w/ 1990 OMC Seadrive 140 hp.:)

    Manual cost!

    Should I expect to pay $95 for an outboard service manual.I've got a 1990 OMC Seadrive 140 HP and that's the quote that I got. Which manuals do I really need. Service $95, Owners,s $29, Parts $29.

    Evinrude V4 and OMC V4

    Hey there, Does any one know if the OMC V4 140 HP is the same as the Evinrude or Johnson V4 140HP? I've got a 1990 PMC V4 140HP and need a service manual. The Evinrude and Johnson stuff just seems so much easier to find. Thanks, Kyle:)

    Parts interchange

    I have a 1966 9.5 sportwin. Most of the parts suppliers seem to only go back to 1968. Are these parts the same and interchangable? Do they use the same parts #'s? I need a new "main spring" for the pull starter. Thanks, Kyle

    When replacing the impeller, what other seals, washers or gaskets should be replaced? Is this a pretty straight forward operation on the motor/ I've got the manual and parts catalog. Thanks for being there folks, Kyle

    theromstat and exhaust relief

    1966 9.5 sportwin When cranking a cold motor, does the thermostat prevent any water from exiting through the exhaust relief (pee hole) until the motor is at operating temperature? It just worries me when there's no water leaving through the exhaust relief. Thanks Folks
