    nose dive

    Why would the front of the pontoon boat dive under water at around 10mph with only 3 people on board? Its a 1968 Kayot Captian with a 95 Evinrude 48spl motor, And no there is no water in the toons. Ed:confused:

    No forward

    I have a 69 electric shift Evinrude, it goes in reverse but kicks out of forward when you give it throttle, I took the lower end apart but didn't see any metel in case, does anyone know what the resistance of the shift coils are. LEFT THE LAKE BACKWARDS ED:confused: edmurphy1954@yahoo.com

    fuel use

    I have a 69 Evinrude 40, and use 6gal fuel trolling for a three hours is this to much? Its on a 24' 1968 Kayot Captian pontoon boat with a lot of add ons, like aluminium cab with windows.

    Where can I get a picture af my 1968 Kayot Captian pontoon boat? I would like to know what it looked like new. Its been modified, rebuilt, reworked, but what did it look like new? Or the e-mail address of Kayot, so I can ask them. I've been to the Harriskayot web address, but no where is a place...

    For a 1969 40hp. Where can I get a new generator bracket, or after market? J B weld doesn't hold
