Hi,
I bought a 1992 19" Sterling Cuddy... I haven't had it in the water yet, I've been cleaning/going over all the systems and repairing stuff as needed.
When I bought the boat the tilt/trim on the 115hp Merc Mariner outboard seemed to work the way it should... Well, it's been sitting 3...
Hi,
I recently bought a boat, and I somehow managed to completely miss some damage. The front wheel roller on the trailer is wore out (see pic), and due to the fact the hull has been riding on the bolt that goes through the center of the roller instead of the actual rubber for the most part...
I recently bought a boat that basically has a gas gauge and speedo. I bought a tachometer for it, but I don't have a clue where to hook it up to the engine.
Could one of you explain to me where to hook up the tach signal wire? A pic would be great... Or if one of you happen to have a complete...
Hi,
I just purchased a 1992 19' Sterling Cuddy. I've never heard of the company, and haven't been able to find much on the internet. I was just curious if anyone could tell me a bit about them? Quality wise how are they? I went out on a limb and got it because it appears to be in good shape...
I'm looking at a 1977 Chriscraft Cavalier... I can get it for $2100... Overall I would say it's in average condition for the year, the current owner had put a new engine in it and had the transmission rebuilt, however it needs some wiring and the cooling system hooked up. The boat owner...
I'm sure someone has already done this, does anyone happen to have a link to a thread/article somewhere that has a complete list of what needs to be done? I can get everything I need parts wise from the donor truck, but what parts will I need to adapt it for marine use? Obviously I'll need...
I'm curious what would be involved in swapping a 6.0l LQ4 or LQ9 Chevy engine (newer truck/van 6.0l chevy) into a boat that previously had a 305 or 350 in it?
I know switching to fuel injection means I'll have to mess with the fuel system a bit, and obviously mount the ECU somewhere...
So ive been looking for a boat in the 21-24ft range (24' would be better) ... must sleep at least 2 adults, preferably a kid or 2 as well. The more amenities the better (cooktop, head, etc...)
My budget is about $4000. Ive Asked about a few boats ive seen on here and people keep telling me...
I found this boat for sale, and I was wondering what you all could tell me about it? It's hard to find info on older boats... Anything you know would be helpful! Anything from the original weight to your opinion about this brand/vintage would be nice to know.
I've never seen one that looks...
Hi,
I'm looking at buying a 78 Bayliner with a 305/280 drive... I was hoping you guys/gals could tell me a bit about what to expect/lookout for/etc...
I've heard the older Bayliners are built stronger, so that sounded appealing... Is that true? I live in the San Juan Islands and the waves...
I'm looking at purchasing a 1991 Bayliner 19' Cuddy, with a Force 120 on it...
I'm new to outboards (always had I/O's) ... I have no idea what kind of fuel efficiency a boat like this gets... So...
How many gallons per hour should it use roughly at cruising speed? (and what speed IS cruising...
Hi,
I just moved to the Pacific Northwest (Anacortes, WA - Fidalgo Island) ... Being a boat lover, living on an island is killing me so I've decided to get a boat...
I found this add locally and I was wondering if you guys might be able to give me some info/advice about if it's worth getting...
