    mercury carburetors

    Why are there so many different types of WME carburetors? Is it just a difference in the size of the main jet? I have an older model inline-3 with a blown powerhead (1989)(70-90hp). Bought a rebuilt 1995 powerhead (75-90hp). What can I do about the carbs?

    70 HP MERCURY

    1989 70 HP MERCURY OUTBOARD THREW A ROD. BOUGHT A REBUILT INLINE-3 OUTBOARD POWERHEAD. I THINK THAT THE DISLACEMENT ON THE NEW POWERHEAD MIGHT BE SLIGHTLY LARGER. DO I NEED TO MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO THE CARBURETORS.
