Went to a sale and saw this boat motor got it for little bit of nothing and dont know what I got. The cover had been sanded and painted and the only thing legible was the serial number on the inside of the motor and it is R7817472 and I do know that it is a Johnson. I have tried...
Have a 78 evinrude 35hp Runs great only with electronic choke held on, have tried new gas, tore carb apart and cleaned. Out of options other than rebuilding.
just bought a 1978 35hp evirude and cables were not attached and I'm not sure if they are right ones. Need diagram or instructions for motor end of cables. HELP !!
