Hi can any one tell me what the best sized prop would be for a mariner 50hp 2 stroke. What pitch would be best? We had a 10 on our motor which came off another engine. The boat would hardly rev at all and only 10 knots!

Fitted a mid to late 80's mariner engine to the boat have sorted out the kill switch short circuit now but need a tilt lock pin (Its Manual Trim) Guy in boat shop said they are obselete. Do any of you guys know what part number it is or is there a aftermarket equivalent?
