    Changing a mirage 19" to 17" pitch

    Can a shop change my pitch reasonably or should I go shopping on Craigslist. The one I have is a 19 without a blemish (mirage). Replacing a 17" aluminum that's worn from bottom sand. The mirage is just a little slow out of the hole.

    I have a 17 Proline with an old 150 xr2 Black Max and would like to upgrade to Quicksilver 19p SS used. The sites including Mercury don't give enough info to just go on eBay and bid.     Teleflex cable

    how do I determine the cable length for my Prolline 170 1997 year with a Mercurury Black Max. I put a electrical snake to measure from the end of both nuts? The Teleflex NFB but the measure is 12.5 feet and teleflex makes a 13 foot helm and cable. How much leeway do I have
