    Runaway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i jsut rebult the carbs on my 50 horse evinrude to to no power at throttle. got every thing put back together and it started right up no runs no drips no errors . but now it will only idle for a few seconds then the engine runs off and i mean runs off. the carbs dont open up when it does this...

    50 horse evinrude 1995(may be 94) model number is E5OTLEOD. starts and runs fine bit when you push throtle down it boggs down doesnt die. thinking would be a good start to rebuild carbs. is it safe to say that these carbs have a float if there is a pan on the bottom of the carbs? thanks and have...
